Industrial sales experience necessary, with preference for experience specifically in bearing and power transmission products as well as material handling products.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and mechanical aptitude
Computer skills including experience using excel and inventory software.
Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
The outside sales team is expected to be professional in all interactions with customers and with the community in general. The outside sales team is representing the company and is expected to uphold the values and reputation of Power Drive Systems.
Establish new business and further develop existing business accounts by understanding the customers’ business and needs.
Foster new business opportunities with existing customers via new product introduction, account targeting, and marketing current and new product lines.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via in person visits, phone calls, emails, or customer portals as appropriate.
Work with purpose and urgency when a customer has emergency requests.
Work with inside sales team to expedite customer orders as needed to meet requirements.
Work with inside sales team to quote products.
